Growing up close to the Comer Education Campus on the South Side, our newest Comer Crop Intern was fascinated to learn about our nearly 2-acre farm right in her neighborhood. While working on the farm, Kelly is taking courses online to earn her college degree. She is interested in starting her own aquaponics business, but would also like to explore a career enabling her to combine her two passions, gardening and art. While not helping manage our youth-led farm and assisting with our related enrichment programs, Kelly loves tending her home garden and building terrariums!
