Gary Comer Youth Center's virtual Spring Forward Convening prepares young people to be stewards of the earth through conversations with business, community, educational, and entrepreneurial leaders. By coming together and sharing ideas about today's environmental issues, participants will learn, grow and drive the change they want to see.
On April 20 and 21, we will host a Green Career Fair and a forum on Environmental Justice and Environmental Literacy. These two events were envisioned by and for young people from the ages of 14 to 24.
On April 22, we will celebrate Earth Day with a public event showcasing how Comer Education Campus brings together program-based learning and work readiness programs in visual, performing, and cultural arts, STEM, and urban agriculture to develop well-rounded, global citizens ready to take action to heal the earth.
