I have traveled the world and shaken hands with presidents. I was able to do that because of the Gary Comer Youth Center. Because of their belief in me, because of the village that they offered me. That is what it means to be a Chicagoan. To be united and love one another regardless of our adversity, regardless of our differences. And at the end of the day, Chicago, we got each other’s back.
